Searching on-line, I checked the PPC website and found: Hose kit (early or late) $225 Aftermarket condensor $300 Most of the other prices seem right in line. Point being, you should shop around to several different vendors if saving money is a concern. If you have loyalties to one particular vendor, then go that route and be happy! I don't necessarily agree that a new blower fan is necessary; I been made to believe the replacement expansion valve (aftermarket unit costs $35.25) would increase refrigerant flow to the evaporator and thus increase effectiveness. >What's the collective wisdom on the gilmer belt drive for the accessories,(water pump, 100 amp alt, & rotary compressor) It's another $500.00 bones. >>>It sounds very cool, just like a blower. I've seen a pulley break, stranding a car in the middle of the desert. It broke supposedly due to overtightening; Hall completely took care of it gratis. Mooneyman has one on his car--whaddaya think, Steve? Worth the money, or just a gee-whiz thing?
