Yo all, Got this FAXed to me tonight. Never met the fellow, never seen the car, so I can't comment one way or the other. FWIW... ---------- 1972 Pantera 40,000 miles I have owned this automobile since May of 1984. It has always had the best of care. As far as I know it has been in California for it's entire life and since I have owned it, has always been garaged. During the last 13 years this car has been gone through from the ground up .. In 1986, the exterior was taken to metal and repainted petrol blue. Although it does not have the original wheels it has Zenith knockoffs (real knockoffs) . Tires are Goodyear Gatorbacks. Front225 50 VR15. Rear255 50 VR16. The color, wheels, tires and European taillights makes this one of the most attractive Panteras you will see. The interior has a new off white headliner, black leather seats, black carpet finished off with black floor mats with the "De Tomaso" insignia . All instruments are original and working. The suspension has been totally taken off the car and refinished. The "A" arms have been powder coated, the springs painted with Imron and the sway bars have been chromed. Besides the cosmetic upgrades, I have installed Koni shocks and Polyurethane Bushings in the Aarms, Shocks and Sway bars. The Aarms have a hex sleeve and will not turn in bushing and are also greasable. The motor itself is stock but features a "Top End Kit" similar to the one seen in the HallPantera catalogs. It consists of De Tomaso aluminum valve covers, "Pantera" aluminum air cleaner, Carter Carb and Edelbrock aluminum HiRise manifold. Motor also has headers and a " Brute Power Mega Torque Starter" also from HallPantera. The motor was removed from the car and repainted Ford Motor Blue. The timing gears and chain as well as the main bearings are also new. Ignition is a Stinger Electronic. The pressure plate, clutch disk and throw out bearing are all new and the fly wheel has been turned. The transaxle has been blasted and clear coated, the slave cylinder chromed. New master clutch cylinder as well. Other features of this automobile include: New carpet in front trunk, Hood and deck liner, Tonnaeu cover for trunk, Bra with carrying case, Car cover,New master brake Cylinder, Stainless steel brake lines, New brake pads ,New left hub axle, New twin turbo cooling fans, Halogen headlights, removable cross member under the engine and other misc. items including owners and shop manual, technical updates and parts master catalog. Most of this work was done in 199293 ( 1200 miles ago) and I have a lot of the parts I took off the car including the original shocks, cooling fans and the Becker Europa Stereo. I have dated receipts for all parts listed above plus more. If you would like to talk to me about the car's history, contact Paul Brown at 4083783881.The car can bee seen at the "Showroom", 960 S. Bascom Ave, San Jose, CA. Phone 4082790944. CAR LOOKS AND RUNS GREAT
