Where you put the fire extinguisher is much less important than just having

one available! Oh, and if you intend to run open-track events, most

organizations won't let you run with the cheap plastic "civilian" mounting

bracket. Find a metal mount- the plastic ones do crack, releasing the 2-1/2 lb

bottle to bounce around. Most extinguishers are of a common size so you can

swap brackets w/no trouble. Just put it where it's handy! J DeRyke
