It is official. I'm going to be making a small electrical circuit to calibrate gauges. This means that electrical based sensors like the fuel level, oil pressure, water temp (unfortunately not speedos) can be calibrated to our Italian gauges. I'm not sure of the cost yet, but somewhere between $50-$100. This way we can keep our stock gauges and yet get the accuracy we need for driving our cars. It'll probably be a month before I have prototypes to try on my car. I'll keep you posted. For those of you looking for a more accurate speedo, while I was at the drag races in Phoenix, I talked to a guy from VDO. They have a digital system available that can be calibrate by pressing a button 3 times (I am assuming that it has to be done at very specific times). This means that all of you that have different size tires you use on the rears can still keep a calibrated speedo/odometer. Paul #9270
