I mounted my hand held extinguisher ( 2.5 lb.halon unit I picked up from

Pegasus Racing Supplies) on the bulkhead panel, between the driver's door and

seat.  Fits nicely, is out of the way, but easily accessible in an emergency.

I also have a permanent 5 lb. halon unit mounted in the front trunk, plumbed

into the engine compartment.  I am a big fan of Halon units - they just flat

work and they don't coat everything nearby with sticky, caustic, shitty

(That's an engineering term!) residue.
