This is my favorite spot. If you need the passenger seat to slide forward, you can even mount it with the seat temporarily in the forward position. When you slide the seat back, the fire extinguisher is kind of in the middle of the floor, but it still won't interfere with the passenger's legs. Of course with Shane's plate, you can remove it after the race, but I would keep it there all the time. Easy to get to, and out of the way.
