Mr. David Doddek was kind enough to post these formulas las December.  I
have them handy, so with acknowledgement to him.  Here they are again

1.)  GETTING SPEED FROM RPM, TRANS AND TIRES

                   Engine RPM * Tire Diameter in Inches
Speed in MPH = --------------------------------------------------
               336 * Transmission Gear Ratio * Rearend Gear Ratio

Example:  6000 RPM * 26.5 inches
          ----------------------   = 159 MPH
          366 * 0.705 * 4.22

He put a few others there too, like how to get tire diameter from tire size.
The subject was "Usefull pantera formulas."  I'm sure they are in the
archive.
