And speaking of speeding....what is the law in Ca and Nevada ?
If you are caught over 100 you have to "see a judge" in some states,
and some places it is if you are going twice the limit ....
Comments from those in the know ???

Chuck,
Normally... when you exceed 100mph (on the Highway) you have changed what
before would have only been an INFRACTION to a MISDEMEANOR, which requires you
see a majistrate for adjudication. Couple that violations with several others,
like Reckless Endangerment and Speed Contest, and you can be certain that
instead of just signing a Promise to Appear and driving away from the scene,
you'll be "Hooked-Up" like D-Mann was. (Granted, we don't really know ALL D-
Mann's details).
As far as "Twice the Speed Limit" in California... never heard of it. And
since even 2X 55mph is more than 100mph... the first would apply. Keep in
mind that I deal with City Traffic, not the Highways, and there may be some
things I'm missing here.
Moon Man
D-Mann... If it's not too sensitive a subject, would you mind giving us (me)
particulars with your situation so that I might elaborate from the Police's
Point of View?
