Hello everyone!
I just came across a few posters I forgot I had. I have had them many years.
They are about 24 x 36 and were printed by Ford in 1970. It is a poster of a
1970 Shelby "launching" at the drag strip with the christmas tree lights (the
lights on the pole that tell you when to nail it!) in front of it. These are
quite rare and unusual. The neat part about it, is that it has an "exploded"
view of a 351 Cleveland motor and lists all the technical information
regarding it. It is VERY psycadelic in color. Really MOD Man! The thing
that makes it unusual is that no shelby ever came with a 351 Cleveland. All
1969-70 Shelbys were built in 1969 and came with the 351 Windsor or 428 Cobra
Jet. But you, being Pantera folks know that this motor did come in a Pantera!
I have seen these posters for sale for as much as $75, but guess what. YOU
can have one for free! Thats right! I will even pay to ship it to you. This
means it is REALLY free! Want to see a picture of it? Just e-mail me and I
will send a picture to you.
So what is the catch? All you have to do is answer some Detomaso trivia.
Thats it! And guess what, there will be TWO WINNERS because I have two
posters to give away! All you have to do is answer these questions and e-mail
them back to me. I will share the answers with the rest of the forum when the
two winners are announced. Some answers requiring a number amount will be
judged by who got the number CLOSEST to the actual number. I am the judge and
my decisions will be final. You may only enter the contest ONE time. So make
it good! If you have any questions regarding any of the questions I wrote,
please feel free to contact me!
The two persons with the MOST questions answered correctly FIRST, win. Have
fun and good luck!
