I too had a great 1st time at the convention and have no problem
with the Plaza considering what we get. 
One of the only things I would change would be the way the raffle 
was done and since I don't know the in's and out's it may not 
be practical. I did observe a real decay of the fun factor among 
the crowd.  If we could somehow recognize the donors without having
to call out each and every item, forcing us to stop socializing (so we
could hear the numbers) I think everyone
would have more fun. It was like the evening stopped for an hour 
or so and lost momentum. Could we just post the winning numbers on a
board???
I want to support the raffle and I'm sure it's neccessary but I for
one would be tempted not to buy tickets so that I didn't feel like
I needed to just sit there and be quiet to see if I won.
