Hmmm, I didn't notice any slots. I'll look again. Also, no evidence of
locktite. Mine were in quite tight but once broken free, they spun out
very easily. Started fresh again today. Cleaned the bolts and the
holes and made sure they were dry. Made a rig up in the vise to make
sure the torque wrench and extension were not binding and giving false
readings. All but two of the bolts went in at 60 ft-lbs with no sign of
yield. What was wrong with the other two bolts, I don't know. In any
case, Marino is sending out two extra bolts so I can button it all up.
