It was on my car that I notice this clearance problem.  It may not happen 
on all, but is something you should definitely look for if you install them.  

I ended up cutting 1/16 off the top and 1/16 the bottom of the ball housing. 
In doing so the Teflon ball started to show on mind.  So be careful not to 
cut too deep.   Gary also sent me new bolts (thanks Gary) that have a 
shorter head on them.  All this combine gave me enough clearance.
I'm running the Spicers so I'm not sure if the stock shafts will give more 
clearance.  But, I would think they would.

In all I've put a couple thousand miles on with them (Vegas, Silver State, 
etc...) and think they are great.
