A Team Pantera Racing/Silver State Race Update follows my response to Jack. . .

re-geared his monsterPantera for only 6200 rpm in 5th gear = 250 mph! Now, THAT'S
torque!

Land Speed Record Event</U>". As previously mentioned Car & Driver
Magazine </U>will not only be covering the event for a future story but
are also "entering" their own entry!!!

<P>My buddy, Jerry Penacoli of CBS TV is working to get CBS Sports
TV</U> to also provide some as yet undefined  "TV COVERAGE"
as well, so I'm very hopeful Team Pantera Racing is gonna get the best
media press coverage we've ever had. 

<P>Thanks to the help of Scott Black, Ted Stalwart and Rebecca Sullivan
(Sully's wife) we're also gonna have a first rate press release as well.
Our POCA flyers will also be in the July & Agust Newsletters (thanks
Jack!!). . .but we need you guys help getting the word out to the membership.

<P>So everything right now is "ahead" of schedule for the next race in
Sept.
<BR>Stay tuned for race updates but I think your all gonna be real proud
of the outcome. Remember, we need "participant's" and that's where you
guys come in. Whether you race or not isn't as importent as your just "spreading-the-gospal"
at chapter meetings, shows and club get togethers. So thanks in advance
for your continued support.
