Hey, I could be wrong here . . .but I do run a oil cooler! <grin>
All I know is the oil temp slowly started moving from 230 to 240, then 250 and was
still moving up when I backed off - that was at about 175+mph and 7000 rpm with a
stock 4.22 in the May '97 race. With the 3.78 R&P I never turned over 6 grand and
my oil temp never got over 230F. . .But I would agree building power is cheaper
then cooling it and cost is no object either! :-]
