I am looking for some help on repairing my air conditioning. Today, as I
was driving, the interior was suddenly filled with a "white smoke". I think I
have either blown an air conditioning hose, or possibly have a hole in the
evaporator. I have a number of questions regarding this. Has anyone had
experience on changing the hoses, or the evaporator? Do you have to pull the
dash out in both cases? Should I install a new expansion valve and drier? Is
this best farmed out to a repair shop? Can evaporators be repaired, or is a
new one required? Anyone have any idea as to how much one would cost?
I know I am asking a lot of questions, but I would like to get it taken
care of all at once, so I can be COOL again!
Thanks for your help,
