A couple more quick questions.  My Pantera has Spicer halfshafts.  Is it
okay to flip them end for end so that the smaller diameter part is under
the tailpipes?  This would give more room for larger exhaust pipes. 
Second question:  In the "Ford Performance" book, there's a diagram that
shows where to drill a 5/32" hole in each head gasket to increase
durability.  Any drawbacks to this modification?

Got the clearcoated aluminum parts back today.  They darkened up
considerably and not exactly uniformly.  Next time around, I'll probably
just paint or powdercoat them an aluminum color.
