I learned about your 302 Engine from my friend Forest Goodhart.  
I am very interested in buying it if you still have it for sale.  

I'm currently finishing up a ex-pat assignment in Israel and should be
returning to the states sometime end of July to mid August.  

The price sounds good but I would need you to hold it until I return.  
If holding the engine is a problem then we can discuss other arrangements
at another time.

Please respond as soon as possible as I would like to know if I can buy
this engine and start to make plans with it for my boat.

If the engine is still for sale and the terms can be worked out then the
money is readily available.
