>>>Most of it! :>) Can't do paint, can't make the carpets, and although I can
hook up a wire as well as the next guy, the minute something goes FZZZTTT I'm
in trouble.
My knowledge of electricity goes something like this: I know that if you're
working on your (220v) jacuzzi and standing on wet pavement, and you touch the
great big fat wire, you WILL get knocked on your ass. Of course, it took me
TWO tries to fully learn this lesson last week! :>)
I can (and do) handle basic wrench-turning, with the caveat that I don't as of
yet actually OWN any wrenches! My entire existing complement of tools will
easily fit into two shoe-boxes. A full tool set is high on my list of
upcoming expenditures.
Really, though, my thought is this: I've been without benefit of this car
for, what, EIGHT years now? Without working on it, I'm totally maxed-out
timewise between working on PROFILES, occasionally making a guest appearance
at my office, and keeping my other vehicles more or less up-to-speed. I'll be
spending the winter attending C-5 school and then flying overseas 20 days a
month or more, and necessarily spending no money ('cause there's nothing
worthwhile to spend it on out there.) During that time my Pantera could
either be continuing to gather dust in my garage, or I can take advantage of
the situation and deliver it to somebody who can knock out these last details
while I'm gone, and HOPEFULLY I can actually DRIVE the damn thing next year.
