I'm ready to replace my motor mount insulators (bushings, donuts,
whatever)...
In looking at the book and the diagram at a site it seems to show that
there are two donuts between the upper mount and lower mount.
However, on my car (engine removed by a previous owner), one donut
is on the "high" side of the upper mount, and one between the upper and
lower mount. This "looks" reasonable, but it seems to conflict with the
diagram.
If both donuts go between the upper and lower mount, the engine would
be higher in the front....
Right now my engine is near level - about 3/8 " low in the front (measured
by
placing a level on the valve cover)
What gives ? Bad diagram ? Too many macaroons ?
