Mike,
In order to get more headroom with my Recaros, I unhooked
some of the bottom support springs (don't know if Flowfits have
them), this helped alot. After awhile I then decided to expose
the bottom side of the seat foam, and carefully ground away
some of the foam with a disc sander, gained me another 1/2-
3/4" in headroom, and the seats feels the same.
