Dear Dan,

For what its worth, as far as references, I recall that back in the early
eighties Autoweek ran a really good article on jammers. I think I recall
that while they worked theoretically, few of them actually did the job and
then there was the Federal Communications Commission's regs (fed law)
against us owning a jammer.
Seems like there was another article on jammers by Car and Driver about 6
or 7 years ago with similar findings and conclusions.
Some states, themselves, have anti jammer laws with penalties a bit
stiffer than healthy speed violation penalties.
My two cents worth is that if you wanted to really pursue this you should
have considerable electronic knowledge and resources and ultimately, access
to a radar gun to confirm you have a usable unit. I think its a pretty big
project. Have you thought about nurturing a relationship with a lawyer and
work out a retainer for the speeding tickets? Not nearly as much fun, but
perhaps easier and cheaper in the long run.
