Here's Porsche Challenge for Silver State::::::::::::Keep in mind that
when these bozo's do get their act together they will show up with 20 or
more cars for each marque. But until that time we are STILL the
Champions and like the Japanese after Pearl Harbor we can taunt them so
if you have any Ferrari, Porsche or Corvette buds at home make sure you
remind them we're gonna continue to kick sand in their faces until they
show up! <big assed grin>

Speaking of showing up I need to make a request. This is July 4th - our
American Independence Day. You remember, this day - this is the day we
threw the "bad" Brit's into the water during the Boston Tea Party. . .
Anyway, I need driver's and cars. It's great that I know I have your
support but I already know 2-3 of our veterans can not make it in
September. What does that mean. I need some of you younger bucks (less
then 49) who are ready to step up. . .old guys are okay too.

Yea, I know some of you like to sit on the sidelines (MikeyD) but some
of you must be thinking about stepping forward and making your country
proud (Canada & Texas). . .Anyway, the other guys off-line and not on
the net say we're a bunch of computer geeks (well the truth hurts) and
all we do is talk about going fast. Here's your chance to prove them
wrong. Sure you missed Vietnam and the Gulf wars and you ain't been
outside Texas, Colorado, Washington or California unless it was to go to
Vegas for the convention but people in all seriousness - this is WAR!
War has been declared so don't leave me standing out there in the cold
with my cheese head flopping in the wind. I need yous there.
Remember those famous words of the Tazmanian Devil (aka: T-Man), "where
else can I get in trouble for going less then 80 Mph?!" Guys and
GoNancy. . .If you aren't man enough to run your car maybe give it to
your S.O. or wife or boyfriend (GoNancy) or kid (Kirby). :-]
For you religious guys this is also a Holy War. The Porsche, Ferrari and
Corvette guys they laugh at you. they say you don't have the "right
stuff". They don't even believe we will field (10) cars again. . .Guys,
don't let me down. Don't turn this into another Vietnam. don't let these
Commies win. Because September 17-20, 1998 is gonna be your day of
redemption. YOUR INDEPENDENCE DAY!

You are gonna shut down the P.C.'s and unsubscribe for three days (okay
bad idea) and come on out to Ely Nevada and make your families, your
buddies, your girlfriends, your MOM's, your Dad's proud. Yes, on that
sunday in september your gonna strap that helmet on and it's gonna be
ass-kicking time.
Now, get your cars ready, register on the Silver State web page, make
your hotel reservations at the Holiday Inn in Ely and the Show Boat in
Vegas. Don't sit on the sidelines and watch the world go by you.
Okay, I'll let the emotion sit aside for a minute. I am prepared to go
to WAR alone but I kinna figure that when I turn around there's gonna be
a few good men and maybe even one old guy and a chick or two. . .alright
here's the Challenge I sent out to the Porsche wienies. .
