I was under the impression that the 427 in the GT40 Mark 4 was bolted to
a Ford built Transaxle (T44 ??) and not a ZF.
I might be confident with the hp but what about the amount ot torque
produced by a 427 as compared to a 351.
I believe it is ERA replicas that have a 427 Mark 4 prototype who claim
that the ZF is not even close to being able to handle the power.
