Since mine would only hit when the suspension was fully unloaded, I 
would think this is where the main difference is.  Perhaps difference 
shocks,springs or whatever that don't let your suspension drop as much 
as others.  The passenger side on mine had better clearance, so if any 
of you check your clearance be sure to check both sides with the wheels 
fully unloaded.
