     I can't for the life of me understand how anyone could own a Pantera 
     and basically never drive it.  Any kind of car for that matter.  It 
     just doesn't make any sense at all.  Stand there in a garage staring 
     at it and rubbing it with a diaper.  My God!  Collecting is one thing. 
      Preserving is another.  But this is pure lunacy.  Besides, stock 
     sucks!
     
     I hope someone buys this car and drives it 100K miles the first year 
     they own it.......Maybe dent up a couple of the panels or something.

To all:  # 6049 is for sale.  Orange, 8K original, documented miles.  One 
California owner for 24 years (car is now in Virginia) who carefully and 
meticulously maintained and preserved it in stock, unmolested condition.  It 
has the original window sticker, original selling dealer invoice, dealer 
service records, original California "pink slip" title, etc.  True radio delete 
car - no additional "holes" have ever been put in this car to include the 
omission of a matching right side door mirror.  True world-class survivor car 
that has been dry washed only for 24 years.  Forget rust - this car has never 
seen water even from a hose.  First place @ 1998 Le Belle Machine de Italy - 
Poconos - stock 1971- 1974 class.  Tires, wheels, tool kit, spare, air bottle , 
inflation stickers, break-in sticker, etc. are original to the car and in 
superb condition.  This car has never been allowed to get dirty.  Runs cool and 
flawlessly with all emissions in tact.  If you want a documented, truly 
original car that has never required restoration or refurbishment and simply 
appears and drives as new, this is the one.  No excuses, no stories. $32,500.
