I've already SOLD OUT OF the stash I mentioned yesterday of BFG R-1
race tires in the 225/50/15 & 265/50/15's to Danny Miller and Bob Wood.

The next best and BTW this is the LAST SOURCE and this is the ONLY
source is "Tire Rack" who still has
SIX (6) EACH OF THE REAR 265/50/15's. These are shaved and race ready.
Price is $135.00 for the rears.
They also have twenty (20) EACH of the front 225/50/15's. They are
$125 each. This is the same price the BFG factory sells them to the TA
Team Members for! :-]
I am not sure how many of the FRONT TIRES are shaved but you should
ensure you run shaved all the way around.

When these tires are GONE I can NOT tell you when BFG will EVER make
these tires again - the feedback I'm getting is that BFG doesn't plan
to ever build these R-1's again. this is the last of the Mohican's!  

To compound the problem the "G-FORCE" tire production
may/probably/don't count on it/   will NOT START unil later this year
and NOT the end of this month as BFG previously announced.
I've gotten some feedback (not confirmed by Dave Sanders of BFG yet)
that while this isn't "official" this is accurate info...
I wont have commited dates on WHEN the G-Force tire will be available
and I won't have a commited date on production and delivery of the
tall 27" 255/60/15 Vintage R-1's  until next Tuesday, August 11, 1998.

People, don't wait to order these tires. Trust me on this much. . .
for those of us who are going to SS, Willow Springs and TWS in the
next month or so this may be your LAST chance  to get the BEST road
racing tire available - I know because  I've used them all.
