My AC stopped blowing cold. I have not used the system in quite a
while and it has not been refilled in about 2 years. I am pretty new to
this mechanic thing so I will explain what I have done.
I borrowed a set of AC guages ( I have no Idea what they are called
) and tested the system. It stayed at about 80 to 85 psi. I then
turned on the AC and the guage cycled up to about 110-115. It stayed there.
It barely flucuated. Isn't suppose to move around a little? Like between 90
and 120, when the compressor cycles?
I have an upgraded AC system from Hall with a condensor in the front
and the stock condensor in the rear. Yes both are in the system. It has a
rotary compressor. Is this a simple case of needing more freon or is there
something else wrong?
Any help would be appreciated.
