A/Cs stop blowing cold due either to low Freon levels, OR no circulation of
the Freon. There is a tiny screen in the side-leg of the thermostatic valve
under your dash (the thing that looks like a brass mushroom) to catch debris.
In 27 years, the debris plugs it solid- no circulation. Disconnect the line,
hook out the little screen & clean it, then reassemble. Worked for me- J
