I've heard a number of bad things about them.  One of the guys over on
the Fordnatics list, who was a Ford engineer at the time, said none of
the Trans Am or NASCAR teams would use them.  Also heard of a couple of
broken cranks attributed to them.

As the consensus behind this seems to be an exploding flywheel can anyone
shed some light on a a fluidampner....
