DeTomaso Mailing List: September 98, Message #8

Anyone in the greater NYC metropolitan area want to drive a Pantera from Connecticut to the port in Newark, NJ on September 24? I'm told it is under 200 miles, tops. 

I am driving my car (with brand-spanking new rebuilt motor) from Collector's Choice in Wisconsin to Connecticut for a wedding. I will leave the car at my buddy's house who is getting married, but then need someone to drive it from his house to the port so it may be loaded onto a boat and I will be Pantera-less in France no longer! (yes, Mike, I'll take pix this time!) Since it is 3 days after my buddy's wedding, he'll still have family and wedding stuff to do and won't be able to take a day off to go play, so I am looking for other means. 

Any takers? I am 90% certain I am bringing my car with me, just have a couple of logistics to work out, this being one of them...
