Subject:Special SS team track sessions

It sounds like a good Idea. I just question how much participation
     you would receive.

If you wanted one, two or more special exhibition sessions for the SS
guys, it could be arranged$$$. I would need to deal with a
representative of your team and come up with a price per session.
This would not be a per car price. The SS team would buy the entire
     session(s). Anyone interested????

We could have your session right before the exhibition race when all
the fans are present. Your passing would be limited to Group "C"
     rules.

Now lets run the numbers. If your team wanted to buy one session on
the small track it would cost you around $500. If you wanted a
session on the large track $750. Of course divided by the 20 SS
drivers, that would be $25 and $38 per car respectively. These are
round numbers and would have to be cleared with the committee. Are
you still interested in buying sessions at $500 to $750 each for your
     team?

If you wanted your own special class at the event, I would need at
least 8 definite participants from the SS team. That would be the
minimum required for me even to consider the class. Some where around
15 would insure a SS class.

Why not have a "Silver State Only" class?

1. All the guys would be out there for the same reason-to test the
cars.
2. It would promote the SSCC to other members
3. The SSCC guys would receive some much-deserved recognition
4. The event would be unique from other clubs who don't provide
"their" racers with some club-sanctioned track time to prep
5. This would create some personal "onwership" among club members and
develop support for racing activities
6. This would foster team spirit among participants
7. SSCC sponsors would receive additional visibility with logos on
the SSCC cars
8. More SSCC guys would be encouraged to attend the event so they can
test their Panteras

Just a PR thinking.
