SS'ers at Vegas Track Event....

Come on guys...regardless of the number of cars, there
won't be so many that you will feel you didn't get enough 
track time.  As for the money, PCNC is sponsoring the
event (led by Ed K. with some help from others).  PCNC
is not motivated to make money...They are motivated to
get the MOST people out to ENJOY themselves.  Talk at
the meetings regarding the event, is how much do we 
need to charge to break even (or keep losses to a minimum)
with the expected number of people that SHOW up. 
 Talk centers not on "Profit" but on how CHEAP can 
we make it to get the "marginal" member or guest to 
attend.  Other topics included in the past:    
             Will there be race gas close by ? 
             Will a few vendors be there WITH parts ?
             ( So NO ONE gets STRANDED.)
     And things on how to make it fun for everyone....
     The main costs are track rental (not under our control),
 insurance (not under our control), corner workers (not much
under our control), tow vehicle (Larry provided his for free),
Ambulance (Do you have one to offer for free ?)...
PCNC is putting the money up NOW, and if it failed for
some really weird reason PCNC would be bankrupt !  
That is how much PCNC wants EVERYBODY to have fun !

I think this topic was spinning out of control, due to misunderstandings.
PCNC will make the event as CHEAP and good as possible.
(At considerable cost and effort to those that personally put in the work.)
If there was any money left from last year, it was set aside to make
this year's cost per member LESS.  This was a unanimous decision.
I know the feelings and intent of the PCNC, as I've been to every meeting.

I am going to the track event with or without my car...may the bodyshop Gods
smile on me.
