Bill, Jim and other Model Car Collectors & MIKE COOK,
I was surprised Saturday when I got a Matchbox Collectibles catalog that
actually had a die-cast copy of Mike Cook's dad's infamous
Stone-Wood-Cook Willy's Gasser model for sale. This is the car that in
1965 set a 11.22 1/4 mile ET RECORD.  If Mike isn't already aware of
this model he might like to get it for his dad and family.

The detail on this die cast model looks pretty good and while it's not
cheap it's part of a 4-car collection of 4-cars that includes Buck
Baker's '57 Chevy Winston Cup Championship car, Mickey Thompson's 1960
land-speed record car that first did 401 mph and Parnelli Jones '63
Watson Offenhauser powered Roadster that set a Indy 500 Championship
record of 143.137 Mph in 1963. The cost of the 4-car set is $119.96 plus
