Subject:32-valve heads and +130 HP

Hi all,

A friend of mine forwarded this tidbit to me today:

=====

Dominion Performance Inc. makes a 4-valve cylinder head with unequal length
intake runners to promote swirl as well as tumble. Popular Hot Rodding did a
write up on it. The results were spectacular. They compared that head with a
stock 2 valve head and a performance 2 valve head. The added swirl aided low
end torque, which is where most 4-valvers are weak, and it made very close
to the same torque and hp up to 3800 rpm, as the performance 2-valve head.
But above 3800 rpm, it took off and made 133 more horsepower at 6000 rpm
with no other modifications!!!
I got excited about it and called them. Lunati sent them a 434 small block
(4" stroke, 4.155" bore) and they got 707 hp on pump gasoline.
Here's the specifications:
	intake flows 385 cfm
	exhaust flows 300 cfm.
	uses felpro 1209 intake gasket.
===>> uses stock cam and lifters, stock intake and stock exhaust.

Price: $5500.
Custom made for customer application.
Call (818)709-4794 if anyone's interested and can afford that.

====

I went to their web page. Aparently they use a forked roller
rocker design that is actuated by the stock pushrods. The only
make these for SB chevy and ford, so no Cleavelands yet. Can you
imagine the CFM ratings with the Cleveland heads? Yeesh. Then
you can add in your hot cam, intake, exhause, pistons, etc etc.

FWIW,

Jim
