YO YO YO,
Okay, mark your calanders. . .On Saturday, January 16th, 1999, as the
date for the Los Angeles Metro Red Line Subway TUNNEL OF  LOVE TOUR.

We'll probably meet at the site at 11 AM. After a short safety
orientation we'll do the tour, and take a short drive up to the Griffith
Park Observatory a short distance away from the Vermont/Santa Monica
Station and have lunch. This park has great views of the city the
Hollywood Hills and even the HOLLYWOOD sign.

I'll get a notice and directions up to the forum in the next 2-3 weeks.
You'll need boots (no tennies or sandals etc). We'll provide the  safety
gear (hard hats, work vests, emergency respirator's and safety glasses).
You have an opportunity to be some of the FIRST folks not part of the
project construction to get access to the station and tunnel. Remember
Do Not touch the tunnel-rats or the energized third rail and weather
permitting bring your detomaso cars cause I have dedicated parking. :-]
