All
We are all aware of Shane's theory of electrical failures being caused
by the "smoke" escaping from said component. I now have first hand
knowledge that expands this theory to include engines. At a track event
this weekend something inside my motor caused the "smoke seal" to fail
thus allowing large quantities of smoke to escape from the engine and
rendering it non functional. [ the guy behind me said it looked like the
space shuttle taking off ].
So now it looks like I will be joining the ranks of those who are
building engines for their Panteras... I would like to request any and
all information out there on the subject, everything from the most basic
low budget street engine to an all aluminum dream engine... basically
guys I want to gather all the info. I can so I can make an informed
decision on how to proceed from here. So let me have it with both
barrels.
Thanks.
