To all,
Back in the end of November I got very pissed at myself
for getting caught accelerating to 110 mph in a 45 mph zone.
The area is the famed Woodward Ave. This particular spot
has a concrete barrier on both sides and a good straight shot for
about 3/4 mile.
I had a friend with me from Atlanta and gunned it 1st, 2nd
and backed midway in 3rd. Looked behind to find a small
dot veering over all four lanes and taking a long time to catch-up.
I just knew it was going to be the areas finest and pulled over
and just waited. Received ticket for 30 over.
Because of my driving record and gray hair, the judge gave me
2 points for 10 over. I took the arrangement, paid the $85.00
fine and ran out of the court house.
My attitude was such that I wanted to just sell the F'n car and
be done with it. Well, I have driven the car two more times before
placing it in storage. Maybe I can drive it more carefully in the
future ?
My business is growing very rapidly and will probably not really have
more than a handful of opportunities to drive it next year. However, I
will be doing more upgrading this winter and look forward to the
Spring.
BTY, thanks Scott B. for your E-mail last month, my attitude is
now much improved.
Chris...
