I just received my latest issue of AutoWeek (January 4 issue) and it has a fun
article about the Texas 1000 vintage auto rally, held on rural roads in Texas
- due to heavy rains, the distance was somewhat less than planned. They quote
one Charles Engles, a Pantera driver (Maybe "our" Chuck Engles?!), about being
passed by a '29 4.5 liter blower Bentley, at over 90 miles per hour! Nice
pictures, pretty countryside, gorgeous cars (Cobras, Ferarris, Mustangs, Jags)
and in fact a nice picture of a Pantera parked with some of the Ferrari/Cobra
partcipants.
