Speedvision  now has its own version of Home Shopping Network.  Direct TV
lists it as "Auto Shopping Show" and I think Speedvision calls it "
Speedvision Speed Shop".  The Central Standard times are 5:00pm and 2:30 am.

The spokespersons for the show stand behind a counter making their pitch
with a really red Pantera on a pedestal behind them.  Would be interesting
to find out who owns the car.  The car has been on the last two shows.

The show that was on yesterday at 5:00pm central was really good.  They only
spend about half of their time selling things.  The other half is spent with
interviews and tours.  They had a good interview with Carroll Shelby and a
tour of his new LV facility.  But the really neat thing was the tour of the
restaurant in Newport Beach that Dennis and bunch visit on Wednesday nights.
Well sure enough the owner led the camera crew out to the lot where in all
of their glory was a row of Pantera's backed up against the fence.  So in a
30 minute show, you are looking at a Pantera for at least 15 minutes.

Kind of amazing the attention these antique cars are starting to get.
