The Texas Motorsports Ranch is owned by a close friend and co-owner of our vintage IndyCar, Jack Farr.  A certifiable gearhead, Jack has been working on the Ranch for a few years now, and all it lacks is pavement, the roadbed being completed and curbing poured.  The Facility is on HWY 377 about 30 mi SW fo downtown Ft. Worth, near the old Pate Swap Meet location.

Go to www.motorsportsranch.com for details, and the site is open every Sat 10-2 for open house to tour the facilities.

It is a members only facility, though, so group events will take some work to schedule.  I am sure Jack will accomodate out-of towners visiting, but the idea is that locals should be members.  I will be, and recommend it to anyone who genuinely likes the track experience.  Frankly, having a high performance car that does nothing but pose in parking lots and car shows, occasionally trundling in traffic is a huge waste.  If you live in N Texas, go check it out and meet Jack!

Let me know if you think a track event might be of interest, and I'll try to see about logistics.  I expect it will be May before the track is cured, in any event.
