Tires, suspension and handling.
     For general in-depth theory and practice, and an excellent reference
source that clubs might want to invest in for their library, I would
recomend a book put out by SAE titled,Tires, Suspension and Handling by
John C Dixion, with 636 pages @ $69.00.  This source covers extensive
analysis on Suspension ie, Understeer/Oversteer, Bump steer, Roll steer,
Roll centers, Limit handling, Aerodynamics plus the theory and practice of
applying these to vehicle cornering and handling.
     As far as tires go there are chapters covering, The Tire,
Areodynamics, Suspension Components, Suspension Characterics, Steady-State
Handling, and Un-steady-State Handling, with each chapter ending with a
wide selection of problems encountered.
