Having spent a few years with the Lambo Mirua the only major headache is
changing out the starter motor and then finding someone that is willing to
take on the job of rewinding the armature. Mine fried itself because of
insuffient amp capability of the cable from the battery. Once I replaced
it with a 00 copper cable used as stinger cable for arc welders It worked
just find. Working on the Miura would be an excellent job for blind people
because probably 70% of the operations are done by braile, there's now way
you can possible see what your doing. A beautiful car, back when the
speed limit was 55 I could tell people that I could do the speed limit in
1st gear and I still had four left. The only problem with the stock body
is that the front end would start to get pretty light approaching 145 mph.
It got real uncomfortable at 150. Once a spoiler was put on, no problem.
With 12 feet of cam chain, 12 Weber venturies and 12 stacks of exhaust, and
all this closer to your head (transverse) than in my pantera, it makes a
sound (music) at 'full toot' that has to be heard to be appreciated.
