Don't remember if I already sent you the answer, but here it comes.
My black bumperettes really seems to be made of fiberglass or thick
rubber/plastic. As I don't know of any non-destructive test method,
I just visually inspected them. I did not scratch, drilled or
otherwise mechanically checked the pair. Later on I will take a
closer look when having them off the car.
