Dear John,
I'll take a shot at this. I think there is an advantage to be in both clubs, if for no other reason than you double your available Pantera reading material and want ads. POCA resembles your basic club with officers, members, events, newsletters, convention, magazine, etc. Pantera International actually had some meetings in the very early da;ys, but has been a conceptual (cyber?) club rather than a conventional club. It has no meetings, officers, etc. It does put out, now, a very nice magazine and it does sponsor some events and shows, I believe. These are not track nor touring events. There are no meetings nor conventions with PI. They're definitely different organizations. POCA again is a std car club organization while PI is essentially "owned" by David and Linda Adler. Your membership entitles you to the magazine and some club discounts. Join both and double your exposure. Disadvantages: two yearly dues payments.
FWIW, Chuck Engles

Subject: POCA vs. PI?
Hi all, I just wanted to get some opinions from you guys or gals. I am
already a POCA member and I was checking out PI's website (specifically for
that DeTomaso book) and I got to wondering. What is the difference between
POCA and PI? Are there any hard feelings between the two and it's members?
I have no intentions of leaving POCA, but was wondering if there were any
advantages/disadvantages to being a member of both. Thanks in advance!
