tell me what cars could donate a good set of rotors and calipeirs for the
pantera, I'm rebuilding mine and the brakes donot seem upto the task. I'm not
planning any real racing just a few classic car meets here in New Zealand.

>>>A PCNC member retrofitted mid '90's Nissan 300 ZX rotors on his car--he sez
they're a direct bolt-up. Another member has huge vented iron rotors pulled
from a junkyard (Dodge van of mid '70's vintage.)

Given that the price of new OEM rotors is essentially the same as new high-
performance rotors from the vendors (they sell vented replacements for the
stock rotors for not too much), I'd be inclined to just take advantage of
their research, rather than spend a bunch of money on an experiment.

much do I ). I heard some did a volvo set once?

>>>Gary Hall has a neat setup, consisting of four replacement vented rotors,
four PBR aluminum calipers (as used on the C-4 Corvette, Mustang Cobra, and
any number of other high-performance cars from around the world), new master
cylinder and braided steel brake lines. Fully DOT legal, good for all-weather
operation, much lighter than stock, runs cooler, tastes great, less filling.
Suitable for high-performance street driving and light track work. With all
the necessary brackets included, it's probably cheaper to go that route, than
to buy new OEM calipers, rotors, lines, master, and then try to engineer a
solution to get them to work together on the car! :>)

>PS what are the dates for Vegas this year, I'm coming over for buisness mid
to late april.

>>>Perfect! Vegas is 23-26 April! See you there!
