Hi guys,

Tonight I got around to looking at some statistical data that PCNC membership
chair Russ Britschgi put together for us.  Club membership is GROWING!  In
fact, just tonight I was contacted by a dedicated enthusiast with a '71, who
lives somewhat removed from the S.F. area and is thus totally alone, or so he
thinks.  He's just tonight joined PCNC.

He is not alone, for according to Russ' data, PCNC membership grew by a full
TWENTY percent in 1998!  We now have 122 full members and mail over 150
newsletters each month.

I don't know if these numbers are representative of the club as a whole, but
at least around here, things are looking really good!  I hope that those of
you who are members of other clubs are doing your best to continually recruit
new members, and keep the existing members involved in the club's activities! 

It's just a Good Thing! :>)
