I ordered the 18126W based on the current thread. They were nowhere close
to holding up my decklid. My car is an Amerisport GT5-S with it's
particular style delta wing - turned down on the sides like the old Mach
1's. Maybe it's just heavier than most. My old shocks almost
counterbalance the lid - feels light to pick up - they will occasionally
hold it up. With these new ones the lid was very heavy - like the shocks
had no effect.

The folks at PPC were very friendly and even issued a call tag so UPS will
come to me and pick them up. I'm thinking about that prop. Anybody know
where it mounts and where it supports the lid?

Like someone said "Pantera's are like snowflakes, no two are alike".

Lost my notes on who to call for proper deck lid shocks.

I think Mike Drew was working with a vendor to produce
the proper deck lid shocks for the Pantera.

My Pantera has the GTS wing and I am tired of being
conked on the head while doing service.

Anyone remember who the vendor of these shocks are ?

Ever grateful,

Chris...
