The sad thing is that it seems like someone's scanned the archives for

Note: Just delete if your not interest. I know the emails will start
coming soon saying stop talking about it, so I promise this is my
last post on the subject. (that's a grand total of 2).
Some others wrote me off-line thinking that I'll stop the lists spams by changing my email.
No, that's not why I changed my email. The only way to stop (or greatly reduce)
spam to the list is having the only the mail from the lists subscribers be forwarded.
Yet that's out of my hands.
Now the emails one uses to subscribe to this list is being scanned off for these
big email lists and you will get email directly at your home address. That's why
for every spam that you see on this list, most of us also get one addressed
directly to our email (yes, I can tell the difference).
What I'm saying is like what Tomas touched on and what Scott said above, the email
address you use on these lists will get infected with spam. So I'm now using an address
for this list that isn't for my friends and family yet only for lists like this and once it has
been put on enough spam lists I'll just change it keeping my personal account clean.
Just thought I'd share this for others that would like to keep a good clean home
personal email address. Sure wish I had heard this before my personal email was ruined.
I liked having my address being a simple "my name @ my domain", now it's on these
spam lists.
