Chuck, Mike,

Might I suggest that instead of replacing whole exhaust pipes that you make
up a small "bung holder" that is perhaps only 1-2" long. Fits at the header
flange, between the header flange and the muffler flange. Three long thru
bolts replace the original three short bolts. (Weld bung to a short piece
of exhaust pipe that has been flanged on both ends.   ]o[  <<
