Upon pulling my speedo for repair, I have got myself into a little
confusion. My car is a 72 L which means the wiring diagrams are not
always correct. The bulb at top is a brown wire which shows yellow/black
in my diagram, but I'm sure thats the night lighting. I have a blue/black
and a white on the same bulb with a ceramic wired thing hanging loose
from the white connection. I'm thinking this is the resistor or something
everyone talks about that hooks the ignition through the bulb. This
situation does not stop my car from running. Also I have a black/white
wire that I assume is the heater/ac fan indicator. Wondering about the
loose ceramic thingy. Any help? Thanks
